“The Wannies” - photos

20 miles
Start 08.30 hrs from Kirkwhelpington Church car park   GR: NY997 845
OS Explorer map 42 Kielder Water & Forest.

I am sorry to say after a reccie of the walk "The Wannies" that I have come across areas where dogs are not allowed.  So because of this please do not turn up with your dog on the day as I will have to refuse you walking with the Group.  We had a problem on a walk in February where the group were in an area where we did not realise that dogs were not allowed, however the chap who stopped the dog owner did agree to lets him continue.  This would not always be the case that a landowner / gamekeeper would be so lenient and the last thing I would want is
embarrassment to any dog owners or to the group. Sorry for the inconvenience."
